Hello everyone,

I am trying to get my collection stored adequately, and had a sort of specific question I thought folks might be able to give insight on.

Currently, all my books are in BCW boxes loose. I bought bags and boards that are the correct size for most of them, however I read my books often and found I was not enjoying dealing with making sure corners were not getting bent or worrying about adhesive / tape from opening and closing the bags.

My nicest books are worth a few hundred dollars but I certainly don't have any insanely valuable or rare items. Would it be reasonable to just add boards between books to keep them straight/not bent and not use  bags? If the goal is just to have the books stay in nice reading condition, would a lack of a bag be an issue?

Thanks for the help, I know it's an odd question.
