I've been out today, and got a stiff cardboard/plastic wallet, tissue, polystyrene sheets, then more stiff cardboard etc etc. Hopefully b0mb proof once shipped

£9K is a good price, and a great copy for the buyer too. So congradulations all round I think.

And to think I grew up 30 mins drive from Stoke-on-trent and the Garden Festival was a big thing and I ... didn't go :-(

I did go after it closed - many many times - as it became the site of our local multiplex cinema.

The story was they were rolled up and stuffed in that back of a trunk, but they looked like they had been rolled up and suitcased to smuggle them out of a camp. All the damage could have been there to hide the fact that they were fakes. I don't recall those auctions closing, so I wonder what happened to them.

One of the buyers of the "water damaged" copies recently commented on his purchase on the Facebook Acaeum group.  He indicated that they were indeed photocopies.  He did get a refund for it.  Not sure about the other buyers, though.
