1e DMG sixth printing variant?

I have in my hands a used 1e DMG and out of curiosity I looked it up. It appears to be a sixth gamma, but it has 238 numbered pages, and I'd say the spine text looks aligned to the top rather than to the bottom.

Are you sure it's not a 6th Beta?

Since it has the survey form and reference sheets, are the reference sheets perforated?

The alignment of the text can also vary in a print run.

Can you compare the thickness to another DMG printing to see if the book is thinner?  If not, what is the thickness?
