I slowly considered this. I couldnt understand why NK would list it so low.

Because of this...

Please review the condition and any condition notes for the exact condition of this item. All pictures are stock photos. The condition of the item you will receive is SW (VG+/New) - hanger card removed.

In the early days I bought so much stuff off NK almost all of it with items unseen.  NK uses stock pictures for items under a certain price.  I think that price point today is $600 but not really sure.  I've learned my lesson more than once and won't purchase anything unless there is an actual photo.

You know the saying, if its too good to be true, it usually is...

True ^^

They should not have used just a stock photo for this item, especially since they are asking so much for it.  It's just a damaged B2 module in SW, at this point, and you aren't actually able to see what the condition actually is.  The header version is stapled through the module.

I have bought from NK as well. A couple great Arduin Grimoire items actually. I was just citing this one particular listing. Yes, folks should read everything, but I have made mistakes.

I frequent your site a lot, especially for images of the backs of items.    Thank you for keeping it up.

A lot of their 'stock photos' of the non-tsr D&D stuff are images they took from Afterglow2.com without any accreditaion too. Ever since Aaron stepped away from the business their moral compass has gone way off kilter. If you cannot trust the seller, don't buy from them. They are one of those sellers I just do not trust. I would buy from Cougie before I would buy from NKG, and Cougie we list as a Shady Dealer. It appears from this side of the pond that we don't list NKG as a shady dealer because of their presence at con's.

This week I've been mostly eating . . . The white ones with the little red flecks in them.

I haven't bought from them in many years. I too got stung on a "stock" photo that was far, far below even the rating they had give the item. They took back my purchase and refunded me, but it left a bad taste in my mouth. I'm surprised they do as well as they do with stock photos on nearly everything.

I asked about a Swords & Spells copy they had for $40 in "Fair" condition and they actually sent me some photos of the item. Though they wouldn't negotiate the price at all. It was pretty stained. Someone wound up buying it regardless. Probably not realizing the low condition.
