Would anyone be able to identify the dice shown in the above picture?

The dice definitely do look vintage.

I was thinking Moldvay dice, but I'm more used to seeing them like this:

I had that in mi d as well... As from the limited experience i have on this topic, i have some doubts on the moldvay solution: the feature that make me doubt is the d8: the mold of the moldvay d8 should be more elongated...

I believe the elongated D8 was a bit later, & appeared with the Mentzer era of un-inked dice.

Yes, mine have that. The part where it was attached to the sprue, maybe?

I had a friend with B/X dice in that color - like the color of split pea soup with some "swirls" within. They were either from Basic or Expert. He had the mud brown dice in the other set.
