Hey guys,
I've a question about print identification on this particular module.
Is there a way to tell the difference between the 2nd print dark version and the 3rd print?
I know the 2nd print light toned version only has the ISBN on back, while the dark version is supposed to have the ISBN and product number on back, but so does the 3rd.
Are there any other ways to distinguish the two?   Any help would be appreciated.

3rd Print: This version is quite a bit smaller than the 1st and 2nd prints. It measures 27.2cm in height (as opposed to 27.8cm) and it measures 21.2cm in width (as opposed to 21.8cm). In addition, on the back cover, there is a piece code with a price indicating it is $5.50. Finally, the "blue" cover is now much closer to purple and is distinctly different when the two are held next to each other. Possibly the size was reduced to better fit in the Expert Box sets as the larger modules did not fit properly.

from my understanding now,
2nd print: light tone, only ISBN
              dark tone, ISBN + product number
3rd print: dark tone, but closer to purplish + ISBN+ product number+ size difference

ok, an update... going back through the several of these that i have, i did run across a third printing, and can indeed verify that the blue of the 3rd print does indeed have a purple hue to it, compared to the dark toned blue of the 2nd print which is more of a blue-blue

it would be nice if the Acaeum was updated to show this

Not sure what the etiquette around resurrecting old threads is, but I picked the most recent old thread just in case. :-)

I was talking to sage@acaeum.com earlier regarding a copy of X1 (blue, not purple-ish) I have that is NOT three-hole punched. By that I mean neither the cover nor the booklet itself. I have two more copies of X1 (purple-ish) that have unpunched covers but punched booklets. I like that in the unpunched booklet, Minrothad is actually visible without a circular crater near the capital. :-) I was wondering (since there's no note on the main site about punched/unpunched) whether this was an interesting fact or whether I am just the last person to find out that YES there were unpunched booklets as well and NO it's not a big deal. Anyone?
