Not particularly surprised.  It's probably in good condition, so potentially worth about $1,500 - 2,000.

If they really want to sell it for what the market will pay, they should set a low starting price and let it go where it will.  Right now they are just putting people off, or scaring them away, especially with this statement: $2750 - That's as low as the price is going.

They might get lucky and snag an unwitting victim, or someone might come along that really wants it, and doesn't care about the condition/cost.  Personally, I've never seen the value in this printing, or other printings that have defects, but there are people that do.

I agree, I’m new to collecting this stuff, and have no desire at all for the error books.

It's condition is too bad, not surprised at all.

It's not the price so much, it just doesn't have the eye appeal to even be considered near that.

Even if it did sell, wonder if it's a good idea to think it would be anything but an outlier. If someone got five times price for a coin or comic book, and it didn't happen much, they wouldn't change a price guide. I guess that would depend on the seller and item too.
