Maybe answered elsewhere, sorry if so.  Very curious, and sort of asking to prove a double negative - Why was there not a Star Frontiers pack?  I have the Gamma and Gangbusters pack.  I’ve heard there was a Top Secret pack as well.  The Marvel set might have been under the wire date wise, but was it really just overstock purge?  Star Frontiers was always a favorite, if there is a story here I’d like to hear.

Never seen a 10th Anniversary Star Frontiers bonus pack, but I can confirm the following:

10th Anniversary Combo Pack, Boot Hill Game, BH, BH1, BH2, BH3, BH4, BH5
10th Anniversary Combo Pack, Gamma World Game, GW1, GW2, GWAC2, 6501
10th Anniversary Combo Pack, Top Secret, TS002, TS003, TS004, TS005
10th Anniversary Combo Pack, Gangbusters Game, GB1, GB2, GB3, GB4, GB5

If I were to speculate, Star Frontiers came out in 1982, and there were very few products released prior to the 10 anniversary bonus packs being sold in 1985.  TSR probably didn't see a good bundle that they could put together of the Star Frontiers products.  The bonus packs were meant to get rid of excess stock, which there might not been a lot of this for the Star Frontiers products.

Don't recall seeing a Marvel bonus pack.

Please remember that these items were invented to get rid of overprinted stock that was clogging the TSR warehouse.

These were not a 10th anniversary promotional 'plan'; they were a desperation move. Next stop: shredding & landfill... unless they could be sold at a discount, in batches.

Star Frontiers & Marvel items were not so overproduced as to need discounting by this radical maneuver.

Or in other words, dbartman's speculation is correct. :)
