Oh wow, for the first time in years I think I spotted something the rest of you didn't!

Anyone see anything odd about this:

That occurred to me -- it's difficult to tell from the pictures.  Anyone have a UK B1 to check if the inside cover is a replication of the outside?

Yes, that's just the module with no cover.  Unfortunately this is not a mystical white cover B1.

Pre-Production (1978):

B1 & B2

The depiction wasn't actually the UK version though.  The cover was different, and could have been white, but maybe not.  Hard to say if this was ever produced or just a mock-up.

I think Foul thought this might be a new printing that hadn't been discovered previously.  It still happens, but rarely anymore.

Damnit.  I had plans to swoop this up and re-sell it to stratochamp for an obscene amount.  Maybe I'll still do that... he probably hasn't seen this thread.

Well, at least grodog's on-board with this True First print idea.  We may be a minority of believers, but our voices will be heard.

I'd say they're 100% mock-ups. I used to work in pre-press in the late '80s-early '90s. They look exactly like stuff we would have cranked out, and we were a bit behind the times.
