Has British Telecom blocked Acaeum.com?

I’m posting from my mobile, because I cannot find a device in my home that can log on to Acaeum, or access e-mails as my e-mail address is also hosted on the Acaeum server.

My ISP is just a reseller for British Telecom, and it appears from an online search that BT has blocked Acaeum in the UK.

Is there anyone in the UK who can corroborate this? And does anyone have any idea how to resolve such an issue?

This week I've been mostly eating . . . The white ones with the little red flecks in them.

its working for me but we have cable
virgin if that is any help.
there was a problem with Hotmail as they had changed the logging on system which I had earlier this week, but that did not affect
logging on here.

If they have blocked us (which would be weird), I can email them and ask for an un-block. Give me your home IP address and I'll see if you're blocked on my side.

Yeah, my mobile is with Virgin and I have access to Acaeum and e-mail with my mobile. My wife’s mobile is with BT and my home internet is with TalkTalk and both cannot access Acaeum or my e-mail, and the common system between them is British Telecom.

No error message, just constant delay and timing out.
At the moment the culprit seems to be a block BT has put on the Acaeum server, which I can only assume is the result of it being flagged as a source of spam or malware, as opposed to any objection over content.

Due to Coronavirus, I can’t get TalkTalk to actually answer the phone.

It appears you are correct, BT has placed us on a block list. It looks like it's on "BT-Strict", which is tied into a parental control filter they've implemented? Are you able to login to your BT account and adjust that filter, or put in an exception for the Acaeum? That would fix it for you, at least.

Although the website I'm looking at also says that if you're blocked by the filter, it should give you an error screen stating that we're blocked.

Switching your DNS provider to Google is another solution:

On Windows:

step 1: control panel > network and internet > network and sharing center > change adapter settings (left side menu).

step 2: (IF) LAN [ethernet], right click > properties > Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4).
step 2: (IF) wireless, right click > properties > Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)

step 3: change it to 'Use the following DNS server adresses:

Preferred DNS server: 8 . 8 . 8 . 8
Alternate DNS server: 8 . 8 . 4 . 4

PM sent. You found the same data as myself. But can’t quite see how a filter could be applied to my account by BT when I’m a customer of one of their wholesalers. Add to that, I don’t have TalkTalks parental filter enabled and it isn’t listed as blocking you anyway.
If I connect my phone to wifi I cannot see this website or access my e-mail. The moment I go back onto mobile data I can see the website and access my e-mail.
Only seems to be this website, and wasn’t like this last week because I was posting from my laptop last week via home wifi.
Who knows? Let’s see if BT have any answers.
At the very least they might explain why you’re in their filter anyways?
This isn’t the 1970’s. There’s far more for parents to worry about than Wizards and Warlocks.

At least I have access via mobile data. Can always set my mobile up as a hotspot to give my PC access when I want to. We’ll see if anyone else experiences problems or whether BT comes back with any ideas. I’ll keep trying to get a human at TalkTalk.

We have the same problem in France. Can't access to acaeum. I have To use my mobile...
