There never were any "print runs" of the 1st edition Carcosa book. I printed them all out at home. Every time I would get an order for Carcosa, I would print some copies to fill the order. "Print on demand", in other words (like lulu).None of the copies has any artwork other than the front cover illustration I did.I do not recall exact numbers of how many copies of Carcosa I printed, but it was certainly more than 300 and fewer than 350.Most copies have a tan cardstock cover. However, after I depleted THREE Hobby Lobby stores of all their tan cardstock, I had to move to a darker brown cardstock. The final two dozen or so copies I printed I used plain white cardstock (since, after all, Eldritch Wizardry and Gods, Demi-gods & Heroes both used white cardstock).Perhaps 15% of the printed copies (so around 50 of the copies) were referred to as the "Expurgated Edition". These copies have sentences deleted from the pages containing the descriptions of the sorcerous rituals. The deleted sentences were those dealing with human sacrifices. I did not change the formatting of the rest of the book. Instead, those pages with the deleted sentences simply had more white space on them than on the regular edition.
