I recently purchased a pewter token/coin made in 1996 (by presumably Ral Partha) with Elminster's face on one side and the head of a red dragon on the other side.  The token/coin has a TSR copyright from 1996.  The person that I bought this from said that they received it from a former employee of TSR.  Does anybody know anything about this?  From what I can tell via 1995/1996/1997 Ral Partha catalogs, the only similar tokens/coins that they advertised were for Vampire the Masquerade (69-214, Vampire Tokens) in the 1996 catalog.  Could this TSR token be a prototype, or did Ral Partha just release an unadvertised Dungeons & Dragons variant of these tokens?  Any information would be very much appreciated.  Thanks!

According to https://wikivisually.com/wiki/Ral_Parth ... te-RP94-58, there was something in 1993-1194 for "Coins of the Realm" which included historical and fantasy things. Maybe this is from that?

I don't know.

Hope it was helpful.

That was my first thought as well. This is the only thing I am aware of, and it does not appear to be one of them. Coins - Lost Minis Wiki

I would ask in the Old School Minis group on FB:  https://www.facebook.com/groups/339877386089536/

The mystery thickens.  Thanks for helping out with this.  As per Grodog's recommendation, I posted this question on FB's Old School Miniatures group yesterday - if the mystery is solved, I'll post it here.
