Recently I bought a couple Dragon magazines from a seller on eBay.  When they arrived I noticed the seller had xeroxed the TOC onto a fresh piece of paper and inserted it in the bag behind the backing board (facing out so you can read it). This seemed like a clever way to "see inside" the issue without having to remove it from the bag.

I've decided to employ this idea across my Dragon collection but don't want to actually manually copy the Table of Contents from each issue.  Instead I found an online repo of all the Dragon in pdf form which I was able to process with some shell scripting to yield a single PDF file of the Table of Contents from first 200 Dragon Magazines.

For example, if you want to print the ToC for issue #143, just jump to page 143 of this PDF.

Couple notes:

The first few issues had no ToC at all, so I just included the intro page so that the issue # will still line up with the page # of the PDF.  By issue #4 a small ToC appears.

I didn't go beyond #200 for two reasons: I personally don't collect that high, but more importantly, Dragon broke from the single page ToC around issue #203, meaning you would need multiple pages for those issues.  This "breaks" the ability to quickly find the ToC for an issue by simply jumping to the page number.  More advanced pdf processing might provide a solution for this but I haven't gone that far with this yet.
