Their main reason being they want to stop off Ebay sales but this sounds like a good excuse for justification.
Mister Yuk wrote in China Scam..?:But on things that are not this type of stuff. There are plenty of good Chinese Sellers and the shipping is cheap because the Chinese Government subsidizes the shipping. Clothing, Electronics, Pottery, etc. - the same stuff that is being barged over and sold in our stores is available from Chinese sellers on eBay. I needed to replace my Sennheiser Ear Pad foams, they were $20 at Best Buy and 99¢ plus 49¢ shipping from a Chinese seller on eBay. Took 4 days to receive them and the quality was better than the originals. I feel bad for US sellers, how can someone compete against that - it's crazy.
Mister Yuk wrote in China Scam..?:nteresting thing though. Foul's blocking Chinese sellers of old RPG stuff is definitely a good call. Not that it would be impossible for a Chinese seller to have this stuff but it's just too unlikely and no way are they going to sell this stuff for pennies on the dollar when they have a super hot Market for it right over in Japan.
