Hi folks,

A million apologies for the extended downtime. The server had some major corruption issues, which necessitated migrating everything to a new server and getting that all set up. Since I knew the site would be down for a day or two at least, I made the questionable decision to pour water on my grease fire, and install a new forum modification I've been working on: the Auction Hunter Public Search Engine.

This was unwise, as it turns out, because the mod is only about 97% complete. The remaining 3% is bugs that I've cataloged and am slowly stamping out. When I decided to push it to the live forum ahead of schedule, I also discovered a couple dozen other bugs that were show-stoppers. Long story long, I've been spending most of my free time this past week getting the server back online (which was way more difficult that it should have been), and also getting the forum operational with the new mod (which was also way more difficult than I anticipated).

The good news is, no data was lost as a result of all this. Also, the mod is operational, although there's still going to be some bugs here and there. Please report them to me in the Auction Hunter Public Search Engine thread at the top of this forum, and I'll triage them as I have time.

So now when I click on an auction link in the forums it takes me to another Acaeum page, when I click to bid I get sent into ebay oblivion. Is this just me??

Hmmm... no, I'm not able to replicate that. I created a dummy forum account, and clicked on several items, both Bid and Buy. Takes me to eBay where I'm autologged in, and able to enter my bid. If I visit the forum with cookies disabled, when I click Bid it forwards me to an eBay login screen, and from there to the bid screen, as it should.

Anyone else having this issue?

From another forum, several years ago, with this problem: "Cleared everything in the Clear recent history on FireFox, works now". So maybe try clearing your cache / cookies / browser history?

When I click on an auction link in the forums it takes me to another Acaeum page, and when I click on "add to Watch List" it changes to "Currently Watching" but when I go to eBay, it hasn't actually been added to my watch list.

Correct. Your Watchlist here is completely separate from your watchlist on eBay. You can view your Watchlist here by clicking on the "eBay" link at the top of your screen.

I tried this on my work computer and got the same issue. I use Chrome for a browser so I tried with Explorer and same issue.

Maybe it is due to me living in Canada?
