Good morning, all!

I'd like to hear what other folks have done with their old TSR module covers when they are split (100% separated, 2 cover halves).... did you just tape them together or did you do something more interesting? Just curious to what people may have done.

Note: I have a couple old, play copies I may press into service.

Nevet had this issue... However i d either sell that copy or laminate the cover in one piece...

Then there is even a thrird way: write here in the complete the incomplete topic...

I think if it was something that I wanted to continue to use as a play copy, I'd take it to Staples or Office Depot and have it professionally laminated back into one cover.

I've had a lot of luck with about a nickel's worth of Scotch tape and three minutes of my time.

If you need to use the inside maps when you are running the module, you can stick each half inside a fold-out two-page sheet protector, and stand it on end like a DM screen. You can add backing boards if it's not sturdy enough to stand on its own. I've made DIY DM screens this way, including sticking maps on the inside on occasion.

Like this, but take it out of the binder and stand it on end.

I haven't done this but I've been thinking a lot about something similar to correct ripped corners on boxes.

Removing some of the material out of the center of the cardboard and adding in a splint to attach them back together. Repairing a cardstock Module Cover could be done also that way. Probably be more trouble than it's worth - but I like playing around with stuff like that.

A Paper Mechanic can make that repair and it would look fairly close to original depending on skill and effort. Burrowing out and adding in a very thin mesh and covering with a pulp concoction and then pressing it. After seeing some philatelic forgeries some of those guys can do, there is really nothing that they can't manipulate.

After considering the lamination option, I decided to just take Lippy's advice and use wide Scotch tape on the outside to put the two pieces back together. It was a play copy, heavily used and an extra.
