This could range from very good to very bad... there's already a group out there doing "conversions", although I find the books to be fairly useless (look up monster stats in the 5e manual, really??).  So, this is already better but again, you just don't know until we see some of the sample work.

I'm not sure about the "two versions" of B2 in the book, that seems a bit redundant.  But the Cave of the Unknown is interesting.  I don't mind the additional commentary unless it's page count fill.

I look forward to seeing it, but honestly, the WotC "Tales of the Yawning Portal" (5e reprints of several classics) may be an early indication on how the GG version might look.

My 2 cents only.

Not too sure I will be buying these or not. I bought the 1st few Goodman Judges Guild releases and the compilation book, but due to the high price I decided to lay off buying future JG items. If the reprint modules are around the same price I will be passing.

Great for the hobby, but of no interest to me...

I agree with this completely,  if the reprint is a higher price than buying the originals then why bother?

I mostly agree with you, Blackmoor.  But the press release does mention extra material, especially the Cave of the Unknown, so there's "new" material (sort of).

I'm willing to give them one try... I'm probably going to get it, as I'm a huge B2 fan, and see how it looks.  Future reprint purchases depend on this release, of course.

As for B2 1st print prices, there has been a little spike recently, so buying an original is probably close to the reprint.
