Hello, all.

I would like to buy one of the pins included in the RPGA membership kit of many years ago.  When I became a member back in the 80s, I received a membership card, the subscription to Polyhedron, and a pin about an inch in diameter that I have since lost.

I've had a standing search on eBay for quite some time, but the item never pops up.  I'm hoping someone here might have a spare?

Thank you!

Thanks but no thanks for the offer of $20. Nice try.

how much have they been going for recently? And are we talking about the copper RPGA pin or the green & blue world dice enamel pin?

I saved a few auctions from the past several years.
There was a copper pin from 1984 that collectors trove sold in Nov of 2015 for $56 (part of the Allen Hammack collection)
EDIT: a similar copper one that was sold by Rhea Shelley in May of 2013 for $24.50
There was a green & blue one (I dont know what year those are from) that was sold in april of 2014 for $15.50.

additionally, If you or any other Acaeum members wish to sell me their RPGA pins from the 80's, I will purchase them for $20 apiece, no questions asked.  Also I am buying To the Aid of Falx for the RPGA (original) price. Now is the time to recoup for money spent in '83

I guess what I am pointing out is that to be able to purchase an RPGA membership and that module would cost you $20. I can reimburse anyone for that.  I have a problem with someone saying "Oh, is that worth money?" when TSR letterhead sells for more.  or TSR decals, pencils or or beach blankets.  Have you no shame?

not sure if that was directed at me or not, but I was just joking. Honestly I have no idea what the going rate is. I know that modules in shrink and all that licensed stuff has dramatically increased over the past year and a half or so, so I really don't have a clue how much the pins go for now.

Sure, I am guessing this website needs to look outside the box. But I find it hard to imagine a website worth its salt could have no input with something made of metal, while they are busy snorting their cheese on paper products...

Spock, sure, if there was only a website that would tell you what D&D items were worth, or a forum?

That'll probably never happen, however.

Maybe I'm just old, cranky this morning, or the weather's not conducive to a sunny disposition.  But I'm pretty sure this guy's an asshole.  Banned.
