Original price of the TSR modules?

I was trying to find out the original price of The Steading of the Hill Giant and couldn't find any information via my Google-Fu. Anyone have information regarding this?

Also, I tried searching here before posting this question to see if it had been answered in the past, but my search triggered the strange message below.  8O

Ran a quick search myself and turned up nothing at all. I will see if I can find anything on some other sources.

The 1980 Dungeon Hobby Shop retail order blank had the price for the G1 and G2 modules at $4.50 each and G3 at $5.00

I remember buying A1 for $6 new, and going to the various older Dungeon Hobby Shop catalogs and/or contemporary product reviews should usually also provide prices, too (Space Gamer's a good one for this).

Most 1st edition modules have an TSR product # and the last 3 or 4 numbers are the price.

I thought they only started doing that maybe starting in '81 or '82. Definitely with all the 'Angled Logo' ones

You can also check back issues of Dragon for ads. I had started going through them a few months back when I was a bit bored (but curious), but other things quickly became a greater priority.
