All -

I've been hearing more and more about auctions on Facebook, but I only have a rudimentary working knowledge of Facebook.  Are there any useful apps out there for this type of thing (I'll probably just start as a buyer and then potentially work my way into a seller role)?

Any assistance will be appreciated, thank you!

It is actually fairly simple.

Once you join Facebook, there are groups that you can join. The best one that I've found is a secret group and can only be found by invitation.

As a member of the group, you are free to buy or sell but it is somewhat at your own risk. Unlike Ebay there isn't an intermediary but bad buyers and sellers are usually quiet quickly removed from the group.

There aren't very much in the way of guidelines. It is very similar to placing an ad in a classified section. As far as I know, there aren't any programs, etc. available to help with this.

If you do join Facebook, let me know and I can send you the groups that I'm aware of.

I've bought several items from different groups.  So far, haven't had a problem with condition, packaging, or delivery.

Well... I'm planning on going through some of my items here soon and I'll probably come across a couple items I could put up for $5 or less. Have to see what I have duplicates of.
