Hi all!

It appears the Canadian Post is looking at a labor dispute, which will snarl shipping to and from Canada. I heard they may send in all four of their Army personnel to keep law and order.  :D

Just an FYI.

The messages I got from CanadaPost said that mail to the US and international would still go out on a daily basis but mail within Canada would be held.  So we should still be able to send things out, just not receive anything.

Are Domestic and International separate divisions?

I don't envy postal workers (USPS or Canadian Post) - the aggregate effect of highly functional competition (FedEx, UPS, etc...) and living in the age of information (email, docusign, digital encryption, etc...), must seriously diminish their bargaining power.  Ugh.

Well, after decades of pensions, medical benefits, 401K's and all kinds of goodies funded by taxpayers, it's about time they joined the masses.
