I'm trying to get my miscellaneous TSR section in shape and I think I'm going to try to split it in to wargames, board games and misc RPGs (basically RPGs that only have one or two items, not worth their own section).  I have experience with a number of these but by no means all of them.  Some of you experts help me out here and let me know which ones I've categorized incorrectly or anything that I missed completely.  (Thanks to Thunderdave's thread for getting me started on this.)

Yeah, as I thought about this, that was another thing that crossed my mind (splitting out SPI). The way I look at it, there are three broad categories here that are very distinct from one another - "minis rules", "TSR boardgames" and "TSR/SPI boardgames". You could certainly make further subdivisions under "TSR boardgames" if you wanted for things like war-board games, mini (micro) games, party games... depends on how detailed you want to get on the subject.

When I was collecting these games, I found the advanced search on boardgamegeek very helpful for figuring out which games were which. I can also answer just about any question you have on any of the "TSR boardgames" from the pre-SPI takeover period (and a few from the post-SPI takeover period). Not that I've played most of them .

Warriors of Mars has miniatures rules and is also considered an RPG. Would you rather list things twice, perhaps with an asterisk, indicating that they are also listed in another section, or just list an item once (perhaps again with an asterisk indicating that a listing could also have been placed in a different area)?

Okay, I updated the list above.  Paul, your last post went up while I was in the process of editing and posting so I'll go back and take another look.  I separated the board games out a little further to put all those '80s licensed products in their own group.  I just couldn't feel good about having All My Children in the same category as Snits Revenge.  I think rather than double-listing items I'll note in the individual descriptions which ones have an RPG component to them.  Thanks for all the help, everybody!  I think this is shaping up nicely in pretty short order.

There's smtg similar also for the tsr and guidon games...  There are some miniature wargames which have been issued during the acquisition of the guidon games... My first tought goes to tractics where i have always had problems in getting the rigth sequence of editions... (and then there are dguts and hopefully other games)
