"I submitted a product proposal for "Cult of the Reptile God" to TSR in 1981, before I left the company, and was much surprised to see it appear a little later as a full-fledged module with my original title and concept. TSR was apparently banking ideas and outlines from staff at that time and later farming them out to new hires as assigned projects."

wasn't any credit to Kevin -- anywhere in the module. No one would ever have known the guy had any involvement in the adventure. Not even in as much a listing such as "inspiration:" or in the "development" credits, as in previous modules (such as the Orange B3 to Green B3 credits) or even a "Concept by" or "Thanks" Tim, Harry, and Jim were left out too.. also whoever did the cartography

Retroactively we realize that it was a symptom of the Blume influence. It had become obvious that Gary's public appeal was a major factor in the power struggle, and that the Blumes didn't want any more 'superstars' gaining such leverage (Hickman was rising fast, despite that). So for whatever reasons -- maybe that paranoia, maybe something else -- fewer credits were listed. This overcorrection was remedied later, it seems, but the credits of products 1982+ are nowhere near as complete as '70s thru 1980-81.imhoF
