So there are a few folks posting to the "Silliest Auction Price of the Year" (around page 92) topic about a F115-R that sold yesterday on eBay. As someone looking for a 1st print, how do you go about getting/making one? I have know these sets do not come up that often, so the comments on Frankensteining leads me to think that I won't be able to find a good copy. So should I be just trying to buy good parts?

There is currently a 1st print on eBay from Nobel Knights for $425 ... and it's not in great shape ... and it seems very pricey.

so looking for opinions to help out a new(ish) collector ... How should a try to get one? Yeah, waiting is an option too.
