Hi,

  Old Time Gamer, new to collecting.   I have been building my module collection via e-bay so far, but it is starting to get irritating.  Assuming I am in a small town far removed from a collectable store that might carry such a thing, where is a good on-line source for finding out of print modules for sale.  I have Ebay, Amazon, and Nobleknight.com so far on my list.

I would suggest you try posting on here in the classifieds what you are looking for, condition, and price-range you are interested in.  I have had some success with this in the past when there has been a module I just can't get my hands on via ebay due to price or availability.  A lot of us have extra copies of modules that are looking for good homes and just haven't gotten the gumption to try selling them!  I have been mostly looking for play copy condition (not falling apart but creases are fine kind of condition) and have had luck on here; not sure about looking for collectible condition copies, but I would give it a try!

Good advice so far.  Just put a WTB (Want To Buy) listing in the Classifieds.

Speaking of NobleKnight, there are threads in these forums about good and bad experiences with buying from them.  You may want to check those out.

As far as eBay goes, it certainly has its limitations, but with patience, you can get most everything you want eventually.  The main exceptions are those one-of-a-kind items or with print runs less than 100.  Impatience will cost you money and you'll make compromises.   Good luck!  8)

I would check often the Classifieds here and on Dragonsfoot...both have constant postings and I've bought a lot of good stuff over the years in both spots.
