Hello everyone, I'll try not to be dramatic.
Foulfoot, if you think this thread is not appropriate here, please either remove this thread or move it to where you think it's appropriate, at your discretion--and thank you.

It has been over four years and two months since, as sleepyCO, I last posted here--I have been lurking in the background, peeking in when possible, during that time without making posts.

What happened?  Well, you name it:  I couldn't remember the password to get in (my own darn fault), I changed computers, had schedule changes at work plus five general managers in that time, money being tight, etc.  My collecting has gone down somewhat in that time, again due to a shortage of money, but I pick up an item or two now and then;  also, a few of the places I used to go to here in my town have closed up shop so that limits options.  Also, I went through a stretch of time between Labor Day 2009 and the middle of 2011 where I lost nearly three dozen people I knew, in almost every way imaginable:  Murder, suicide, cancer, went to sleep and never woke up, accident, disease, you name it.  It was a period of time where I was helping out my mom, getting ready for my class reunion in 2010, then having my sister's biological sister and her kids have to deal with divorce (my sister and I are both adopted).  That period of time truly was an annus horriblus capped off by . . .

But the major change in my life was far more personal:  I lost my mother suddenly in October of 2010, in fact I was the one who found her one terrible night--and yes, it has been one huge change in my life.  That alone has been the reason that I haven't been here in so long.  She has been missed by my sister, her son, and myself.

I'm not looking for sympathy, just laying out the facts ... forgive the long delay.  Hopefully, I'll be able to post more going forward as I do have more than a few questions I hope to find answers to!

Welcome Back!
