I didnt see this mentioned in the storage / archive article and I cant seem to relocate the storage thread, so my apologies.

I recently went looking for a magazine style box to store boxed sets.  If you bag and board, you know most stuff fits into normal magazine sized boxes, but boxed sets (depending on the game) don't unless you go sideways.  After a few nights of searching, I found these.  I only point them out as it actually did take a bit of digging to find something sufficient (if anyone knows of another seller / manufacturer please feel free to share).

Also, now that I have actually written this, I wonder why I didnt just go to the UPS store and find an appropriate sized box.  Oh well.  Maybe I'll try that tomorrow.

I ordered a couple and they did the trick.  I got 12 boxed sets into 1 (4 of them were Battletech style thick boxes).  I'd not order thier magazine backer boards though.  Grabbed some while I was there and I much prefer BCW.  Shrug.

You could also use Banker's Boxes. They were $10 for 6 last year when I was moving. These are cardboard document file boxes and you can easily fit boxed sets into them on their side.
