Does anyone have a list of the issues of Dragon and Dungeon that came in sealed plastic? I've come across a few. Most are later subscription copies, but I don't know when they started, when they stopped or if they did every issues in between.

Best I can recall from when I had a subscription to Dragon (around issue 140 to the year 2001-ish) the early ones I had received were in paper. Unfortunately, the picture gallery doesn't ring any bells on exactly when that ended. #152 strikes me as one that had the paper (I recall it being damaged in transit), but I don't think it lasted much past that.

Sorry. Can't help much.  :(

Dragon - Definitely by issue 200, all the way to the last printed issue.
Dungeon - Never had a subscription until the last 20 issues, and those all came in plastic.

Dave, get the barbarian in the corner a drink, quick!

I have no idea on Dragon, and not sure when Dungeon started, but I do have a copy of #16 sealed in plastic with the 2nd Ed. preview.

I can remember at least one Dragon mag that came with a CD (I think) that was also in plastic but not the kind used for subscriptions.

Yes, the gamestore copies were not all bagged - most were not.  Only special issues such as those that came with a CD or other promo stuff were bagged.  I had a list started somewhere - I'll see if I can dig it up.  From my memory, there were a few with CDs - issue #274 had the character generator; another issue had a CD related to Dragon magazine, and another issue had a CD with Dungeon #1 on it.
