Dungeons & Dragons Classics - Every edition available again

Hmmmm... A couple friends forwarded this website too me.  They knew I've been collecting d&d stuff for a few years and assumed I'd love this.  They were even taking bets on how long it would take me to start buying files.  While I do use my collection to actively game I just haven't no interest in these PDFs. Has anyone partaken of this stuff?  

Obviously not collectible because it's just files that are 'water marked' to ensure they don't get copied illegally (how good is that stuff?). But before I looked at the website thought I'd have a little interest but doesn't even raise an eye brow. The old stuff is just so cool. It's a little connection to gaming when it was fresh and new.  Need the real copy thats been used.  Once after buying some extra copies of rule books at half price book store I found a dollar bill in the book. Like a book mark. A funny little human connection. I left the dollar in the book, seemed to belong more to the book than me.

Also, you can stick them on your iPad, laptop, whatever while you game and it's better than busting out your NM copy to play with. Additionally, it's 100% legal to own a copy of something you already own, so those "illegal" file share places work wonders for me, since I have the hard copies anyway.

Also, reading a module in bed is a bit of a pain in the butt, however, lying back with your tablet is easy. I wouldn't buy any of the PDFs, but, that's just me. And yes, the reason you're even typing on these boards is because you know the hard copy is the place to be.

I concur with Zen that sites that have all of this stuff for FREE, as a scanned PDF ... without watermarks mind you ... is the best way to go. I'm not into the digital copies, but they are nice to have, rather than using your highly coveted NM copy of ___________.

I recently came across a site that has tons of the old school stuff, even some of the rares, but I just don't have the time to go through and download stuff.
