Okay, I recently bought a lot that had some nice 1st ed hardcovers and have now gotten into the habit of checking printings.  Also I have 2 shelves dedicated to 1st edition hardcovers and since I don't really want it to expand any further, I try to only keep 1 copy of each printing/variation.

The Acaeum states (for the Player's Handbook):
9th print has sticker on front & cover artist incorrectly identified as D.A. Trampier
9th plus print has no sticker & correctly identifies cover artist as Jeff Easley

Here's my concern - I have the two prints above (they are very common) - but I also have one that belongs in between.  For incovenience I will call it "9th plus minus":

9th plus minus: no sticker on front & cover artist incorrectly identified as D.A. Trampier

You may claim that someone simply peeled off the sticker from the front.  However I add one more identifier to separate the two:

9th print: TSR angled logo on back with US address to the right of it
9th plus minus: TSR angled logo on back with no address to the right of it
9th plus: TSR angled logo on back with no address to the right of it

Merry Christmas you print run junkies!
