Looks fantastic, certainly getting some decent reviews. Personally I can't wait.

Looks great, though I'm still trying to figure out where I'll be able to see it. Just got rid of cable TV a couple months back, and now use Amazon Instant Video and Netflix. Doesn't look like it'll be available right away on either of those. Presumably "On Demand" means Time Warner/Comcast/Borg Media ;-)?

Edit: Never mind, found it on the Tribeca site. Looks like iTunes will be the only outlet other than VOD. Guess I need to download it or see if my BluRay can access it.

For what it's worth, viewed it (on Amazon after all), loved it. Just the right balance of compassion and disdain ;-), and unlike a number of other "geekploitation" films from recent years (Game of the Year comes to mind) well-acted and -written. YMMV, but the gods demand retribution!

It looks I could relate to it. Though the two main main characters seem to be the aptiumum of Overly Obsessed Detailed GM, and uber ass handsome dude,
Or well THAT GUY player.

I am actually quite excited about this. I was shocked when a press release/article about it showed up on one of my phones live tiles.

I am glad others are excited as well.

I saw it this past weekend at a small movie theatre that shows indie films.

Funny as all hell... talk about your worst DM nightmare ever...

Worth the $10 to see it in a movie theatre.  :D

I watched it, a little uncomfortable in parts because the GM reminded me some much of someone I knew... socially awkward, control freak, a bit of a jerk really, but also kinda misunderstood.

I recommend checking it out.. tha gaming was great.  I especially liked gamer-girlfriend and how she impacted the dynamics of the group.

So many memories, good times :)

I draw the line at collecting... D&D beach towels.

My wife and I watched it last night. Very happy with the movie. Believable story, good acting, humor and moments of tenseness. We were wrong about how we predicted the movie would end (and I am glad we were)  :D
