Interesting side bit about David Sutherland III's work; he did seven or eight pieces for my fanzine back in 1997.  Here they are, apparently part of his collection when he passed away.

Auction Agent - David C. Sutherland III - The Sorcerer Fanzine Vol. 3, Issues 6-10

I still have the originals.  Should probably get them framed or something.  It was nearly all the work he had during the six months he was here in Poulsbo.

Mr. Sutherland also did several illustrations for the Space Marines wargame from FGU back in the 70s (maybe as late as 1980?)
