I was curious if anyone could provide some information on this item? Is it a novel-based-game like a choose-your-own-adventure or is it something like the novel version(s) of T&T (where the basic rules are included)? Is it really AD&D?

Those who can, don't. Those who should not, do.

It is the Spanish version of the TSR AD&D Adventure Gamebook #4 : The Soulforge (TSR 8954). The 18 books of the series were translated into Spanish. However the number is not always the same as the original books.
To my knowledge, only Italian and Spanish have a complete series translated. These books are quite easy to find for cheap ($10-15 max) in Spain or on international auction sites such as Ebay and other book sites.
Like the original version, each book should have a detachable player card in it. So if you are interested to get some, be sure to ask if it is the case, as it is not always mentioned.

In Italy the Endless Quest series had just six titles translated  :(  while the AD&D ones stopped with the 18th release...  :(
