maybe this is a strange question, but the doubt just happened in my mind a few days ago...
in collecting the "rares", like tamoachan, ghost tower, etc, when they come in a ziplock bag, is the bag important to complete the item for collection purposes or you can dipsose of it for better protection?

to me it seems that it is not that important, I'd rather use more modern mylar sheets.
but maybe I'm wrong...

what are the community 2 cents?

Never underestimate the obsessiveness of collectors. If we're always getting our Underoos in a bind over original shrinkwrap & nearly invisible differences between printings, surely someone could have issues over vintage Ziplocs.
