Anyone experience issues with the seller "exclude" function in thier searches w/eBay recently?  I occassionally have suffered spats of odd behavior with my saved and on the fly searches acting odd, but for the last week or so, none of my exclusions are sticking.  Which means there are about 15,000 extra items in some categories from sellers I'd just rather not have to "troll" through, etc.

I've googled around and found nothing recent which leads me to believe it *might* be on my end, so just trying to confirm.

Problem narrowed - if you try to use the sidebar seller include / exclude button it doesn't work.  However, if you use the "advanced" hyperlink at the top of the page, everything seems to be OK.  Shrug.

At anyrate, since there seems to be interest, here is how you too can filter out people / sellers you DONT want to see:

Create your search as you usually do.  Once you are satisfied that you are hitting the right categories with the right keywords:

Click on the "Advanced" hyperlink, next to the blue "Search" button at the top of your eBay page
You should see a page titled "Find Items"
Scroll down to the "Seller" section (near the bottom, under "Currency")
 Click the "Only Show Items From:" box (this is counter-intuitive, but just go with it)
 Make sure the "Specify Sellers" radio button is selected
 Change the drop down box to "Exclude"
 Enter the eBay IDs of all the sellers you wish to exclude from your search.  Seperate them by a space or comma (There used to be a 10 seller limit, but I've heard this has gone away).
Click the "Search" button at the bottom of the page

Verify:

Just under the search box on the resulting page, you should see something like this:

597 results found for ("dark heresy", ptolus, "Rappan Athuk", "car wars..., -YYYYY, -YYYYY, -YYYYY... Save search

The "..." will seperate your search terms from your seller exclusion list (sellers in my example have been protected, and thier ID's replaced with YYYYY).
