That is very... surprising.
Is that a sort of 'gift' for Paizo ?
That is an insult for D&D 4 and 5... so strange... it is hard to understand.

As the 3.5 books have tended to fetch better prices than the 3.0 on eBay, any thoughts as to what impact this will have on the original books now?

I don't think it's a wild guess to say that most buyers were players, not collectors, so reprints would hurt the secondary market (depending on the price point of the reprints).
Areas of interest/knowledge: Harn, WFRP, Ars Magica, anything BRP based such as CoC, Runequest, Pendragon and all their related games

Hi,
looks like the reprints will be "deluxe" editions, so perhaps not much impact on prices.
Cheers,

That's just plain silly.
They can't possibly expect Pathfinder players to buy those since they already have the Pathfinder rulebook, and quite possibly also already have the regular 3.5 books.
And aiming strictly at collectors doesn't seem very
WOTC
to me. I'm really wondering who they are targetting with that release.
Plus they already have a 'deluxe' version of the 3.5 books.

I wish they would flood the market with reprinted Monster Manual V's so I could finally get one for less than $50.00
