How do people display their collection? I've read many people board and bag their modules but have not read anything displaying?
I've been wondering if this can / should be done with acrylic or framing
Seems a shame not box them away
anyone have any suggestions or better yet pictures?

- Everything's bagged & boarded
- Stand for displaying decorative dinner plates to show some items
- One shelf turned up on an angle to show more items
- Boarded modules hung on wall comic-book-store-style
- Pained minis on edges of shelves (guarding the books, lol)
- Bookshelf lights for atmosphere

- I rotate the 'display' items to prevent fading, also I've made colour photo-copies of some covers and use that to protect the book (eg the Ghost Tower)

My only framed item is the Otus print from our art committee, but have thought of doing more... limited wall space is holding me back.

your comment on the spinewear of the b1-9 reminds me of a story.....when the portly pitcher Rick Reuschel showed up for spring training one year, a reporter went up to Rick's pitching coach and commented that Rick was showing up four pounds lighter than last year, to which the coach replied "Four pounds ?" "That's like throwing a deck chair off the Titantic"

Great display! We are house hunting at the moment and a library / games room is on the agenda. Can't wait to get my collection out of its storage closet!!!

Thanks for the nice words everyone. Most of my better display efforts are shown in that photo. I have these in my living-room-slash-library, I like to sit and read near books. I'll post pics of my other bookcases sometime

Great display David. Which bags do you use for boxed sets? I am trying to find correct sizes for Avalon Hill (Powers & Perils etc), Chaosium and FGU boxes. And for bigger like WEG boxes.

'Life magazine'-size bags work for the smaller sets, for the larger, I cut a magazine bag open and tape it around the lower half of the set to make a sleeve... it prevents shelfwear and keeps the boxes closed but isn't 100% - dust & humidity can get to the top area. I don't like the look of those large zip-loc bags so I don't use them, just me I guess

Thanks. I only tried the Magazine size bags (for modules) but always hesitated for the others since I don't know in which ones each box could fit.

Rule of thumb: Take the width + height of one side or the length + height of one side. These two dimensions combined should be slightly smaller than the width or height of the flat bag, minus the flap of course. The length should be a little longer so that you have plenty available to seal up the box.

You can always fold over the excess portions of the bag too.
