Hi,

we went to the first one, however from what I understand, it is more slanted to a mix of Computer Gaming (which is why it is so big now), and Live role-play.

Not as big as Spiel yet tho, I dont think, which is about 160k people now.

if we lived in Germany we would go :)

It used to be called Tentacles (I think) and always got really positive reviews.

This is indeed what used to be the Tentacles convention. Different castle, different name. I believe Sandy Peterson even mentioned on Yog that the Tentacles con was the coolest setting he ever did a game of CoC in.

I'm hoping Sandy or Charlie will be running some games. Then I'm hoping I can actually get a spot in one of those  :P

Hi,

I did manage to get a spot in Sandys game at the texas Con. Unfortunately, Malc has nicked it! Swine! :)
Anyways, am booked into something else interesting instead.

We used to play Cthulhu above an undertakers parlour - our Dm lived in the flat above the shop.

I'll check out Malc's stories about that session on Spiel then.

There were only 13 places left in the castle so if anyone is thinking of going here, you'll have to decide quickly.

I'll be there for sure. Just got my reservation confirmation in the mail.

That would be awesome. I will be in Austria 4 to 9 September too. Sigh. Of course all my leave I use to get back to my family in Australia - pity I couldn't take them all there for a week. (Mind works furiously - hmmm. maybe my mum could look after the kids and I could sign up my wife and I for a week of gaming ............. oh yeah sure. my wife would like to be gaming in a Chateau in Germany, when we could spend a romantic week in the Greek Islands instead). :scratch:
