Event description: Join me for a playtest of an upcoming Pacesetter module. The annual Saturday night game will start around 7:30 p.m. (based on NTX schedule) and will run until either everyone is dead or I collapse.
The adventure this year will be While the Sun Sleeps. It seems the PCs are booked to depart the city via a ship at first light. The problem is that they just had to get a few drinks in at a famous tavern on the other side of town. Whether it was a drug, or the drink too strong, the entire party passed out and awoke at 2 a.m. The ship, and nearly everything they own, leaves in just four hours. It is a race against time and more than a few things that can go bump in the night.
As usual, bring your own liquid refreshments! Or maybe we can get the serving wench to make trips to the hotel bar!

Time needed : 3.5 Hour Time Limit

Tournament description: Teams will compete to win the second annual NTX AD&D Tournament. Each team will include up to eight players who will use their skills to gain points as they move throughout the scenario.

Color Description: When the cataclysm came, the black gates of the Acaeum were sealed and only a very few have entered the vast halls of the mysterious mountain citadel. Fewer still survived their expedition. Their reports are vague and confused. They have reported that some of the Keepers (those who maintained the endless libraries of the citadel) still hold power in portions of the citadel and it's subterranean halls. But the majority of the complex has been infested with undead (certainly forces generated by the cataclysm) and numerous monsters that sought refuge in the early days of the undead cataclysm that over-ran most of the island continent. Your party has been hired to penetrate the Acaeum and retrieve certain books and tomes. The task will be deadly, but death may just be the least of your worries!

Event Details: Instead of a two round tournament, the 2012 event will feature a single round. This way you will only have to register for a single time slot.
