Nope. It's printed and bound at the same time as the rest of the print run. It's merely human or machine error which happens every now and then. I came across a
2E hardback where the endpages (which had product advertising) were stuck in upside down.
This is a different thing from a whole shipment of DMGs being recalled and rebound.
But then, I'm also of the opinion that books with the only diistinguishing characteristics from others being different flyleaf colors or perfed survey forms should not be listed as a variant print. A mention on the printing blurb would be sufficient to note variance due to overruns or similar phenomena. *shrugs*
