For anyone interested, I will be running a demo of an upcoming Pacesetter Games & Simulations strategy rpg on Thursday afternoon. The demo will start around 2 p.m. and will be done by around 5 p.m., well before most of the regular games kick off.

Currently there are two games in development: StarPath and another that cannot be named at this point.

StarPath is more of a strategic boardgame masquerading as an rpg. This game features humans against aliens, and sometimes other humans. Games revolve around a scenario and each player has a goal. Team scenarios are also available. There will also be rules for solo play. This game takes place in the future - think Aliens.

The unnamed game is based on horror (light)/historical (loosely)/pulp adventure genre. This game is a true rpg and will include a player's handbook, monster manual, game master's guide, etc. Hopefully, I will release the game name in the next couple weeks.

If you are interested in either game, let me know. I am going to have to limit the demo to six players. Each player will receive a free demo rule set!

And never fear, Pacesetter will still focus on AD&D adventure modules. In fact, I am sheduled out for at least the next three years.

And I could've bought these damn modules off the 1$ rack!!!

I have a suspicion the title of the new horror game will make us shiver.

"But I have watched the dragons come, fire-eyed, across the world."
