I picked this almost immediately on a BIN, then apparently it got relisted a second time 40 minutes later (slightly higher price). I have been contacted by the seller, who seems confused about the double listing himself, and was wondering if I had a second account. At least he's looking into the error.

1st auction (my BIN):

2nd auction:

DANG!!!  That was me..  thought I had lucked out on a good one and it turns out someone beat me to it.  He just fessed up yesterday.  I bought a few of his other items too but can't even get a price on shipping!

I hope you fair better on yours....

But it ROYALLY ticks me off that I missed that one when I totally thought I had it.    :x  :o

Well, I'll find out shortly. I was just informed of it having been shipped. I hope he refunded your payment.

Given his very sparse use of EBay, I wonder if he knows how to send a combined invoice.

Hey, did you ever receive your items?

I ask because I *finally* had a package arrive and it only contained 5 books of all the ones I purchased.  They were the ones with the least value of everything.  The seller is claiming ignorance again too.

I think I have been officially ripped off.

Sounds like a clear case of "significantly not as described".

Once the confusion was settled, the package shipped and arrived quickly. Not the best packing job, but at least the mods were laid flat. I've had some stuff curled into boxes before. Not in as good condition as I'd hoped. Play copies mostly. Pretty much got what I paid for. They have the look that might indicate possible storage odor, but I won't know until I've had a friend check. My schnozzola doesn't work.

Which auctions did you snag, and what did you receive? I'm thinking the seller is indeed not on the ball. They've been a seller for quite some time, and have very few transactions.

I finally received a *small* glimmer of hope.  The seller says that my package of books was sent to someone else and I received theirs. They want me to mail the ones I did receive back and they will try to get mine returned as well and then shipped back out to me.  Argh - if they ever do arrive there will be not telling how abused they'll be by then.

These are the ones I picked up -

Not a great deal but good enough.  I bought most of the remainder because I thought I had purchased the one you ended up with too.  I even discussed combining all the shipping prior to my buying them.  With combined shipping I still was stuck with $50 for that.

Glad to hear yours came out ok.   :)
