Judy Latham - (at some point previously Judy Kerestan), is looking for a specific Mini... I think she owns one, just looking for more information, here is what she is looking for:

"...I am trying to track down a dragon figure kit that was released about the same time as PotVQ. I don't know the manufacturer, but it was not one of the "name" models. It was a European dragon (not serpentine), sitting with one paw raised. It came in five pieces, if I remember correctly - the body, 2 wings, part of the tail, and the head. It was not a "mean" dragon. It always gave me the impression of a young dragon with a cat-like, petulant expression on its face.  It had a lot of detail but was not ornate. If I remember correctly, the company had several dragons. The kits were in small clear plastic bags stapled to a card..."

"...I think I may have a clue about my dragon. I spent time searching the web and found something that is very close. It is a lousy picture so I can't be sure, but it is the nearest I have found. To be sure I would need to see the head front-on. "My" dragon has a square muzzle, not beaked or pointed. This is a Citadel model, which sort of sounds right. I can find multiple pictures and listings for their other dragons, but not this one..."

So any help trying to identify her dragon based on that info.

I might be able to get her to take a picture possibly as well.

(note: trying to help out as she is sending me a free PotVQ 1st print black cover that's in pretty good condition [no clue how good or bad that is]... but could be better than one of the copies I have that's ripped from top to bottom along the spine !)

Howdy Doug,

Warning, second two pics have the tiniest amount of NSFW!

Any of these? (The last picture comes from PMC (Precision Metal Craft.)

Richard Scott at Otherworld used to maintain the definitive Citadel minis web pages; if you think it was Citadel, I'd email him:   <otherworld@madasafish.com>

Here's another page of Citadel dragons too, from their 1988 catalog. This page includes the image she sent you, represented as 06 Red Dragon.
