hi
i have been lising on ebay some artwork and have not got some of the books that the art work was listed in.
i found some e-book that had 3rd/3.5 and 4th edition listed in full,
so you can look through the whole book without having to buy them.
i have found the wotc website and issuu useful,search engines
and was wondering if there were any others that people know of. :)

I don't believe there is any book or comprehensive list of 1e/2e artwork (or I'd have it).   There are a few books Worlds of TSR, Art of the Advanced Dingeons and Dragons Fantasy Game, Art of the Dungeons and Dragons Fantasy Game, etc....but these contain collections of covers and major pieces.... Not sketches and interiors like what I've seen you put on Ebay so far for later editions.

If your 1e/2e works are covers the books may help, if they are sketches I don't think you'll figure them out without buying the books they appeared in or posting them/asking help from others (here on Acaeum or elsewhere).
