I happened to notice on Tome of Treasures today that Dave Trampier has an illustration credit in Deities and Demigods. Not recalling anything by him in the book, I searched through both my 1st and 2nd prints and, although he's listed in the front of the book, I can't find even one illo with his initials or even an unsigned one that looks like his work... Plenty of Diesel, Roslof, Otus, and even some recognizable DCS, but no Tramp. Can anyone help? Am I missing something?

I saw a large number of unattributed pieces so one of them might be his.

I'm pretty sure Trampier did a bunch of the illustrations for the American Mythos even though there's no signatures.

Raven
Coyote
Hastsezini
Hiawatha (on the boat)?
Snakeman
Shakak
Thunderbird

Sacred Bundle is obviously Otus.
God of Racing looks like Dave LaForce
Hiawatha fighting the bear looks like Roslof
Yanauluh I'm pretty sure was Roslof.

Dave Sutherland has a bunch without signatures (Central American Mythos, for instance)

I agree with misterspock, for both the DAT and non-DAT attributions.

Shakak, especially, is classic DAT style. Compare the negative space tree silhouettes with the coral in the Giant Gar pic in the MM.

The Snake-Man and small Hiawatha also look like DAT to my eye. The other less so but he is certainly capable of stylized graphics.

For the bigger trivia challenge, identify the Eymoth and Jeff Lanners (?) piece(s) in DDG. I think I know the first, but not the second.

Jeff Lanners did most of the Celtic mythos (except for the Wild Hunt ones including the canine above "The Wild Hunt"..pretty sure that's Jim Roslof's)
Eymoth did most of the Arthurian Legends (the ones that don't have Jeff Dee's or DSL's signature)

Correct! Eymoth is Kenneth Rahman, who created the Knights of Camelot game for TSR, and illustrated the cover. Misterspock and I actually discussed this before here:

Knights of Camelot

And now I see the "JL" for each in the Celtic mythos. If I knew that before, I'd forgotten it. I was thinking they were Darlene (who among other pieces did the banners for each pantheon; there's a little "dp" by each).

Central American Mythos:

Dave Sutherland I believe did these:
Quetzalcoatl
The feathered serpent, also on pg32
Huhueteotl
Tlaloc

Tezcatlipoca could be another Trampier one?

Roslof
Huitzilopochtli
(if you look closely, there's a signature
ros
lof
on the left)

Dave LaForce
the cleric holding up the staff
The eagle on page 34
TLAZOLTEOTL, with the sheer cloth (always a favorite)

and of course Jeff Dee has the God of Death

Dave Sutherland also did
Kali, Surya, and Vishnu in Indian Mythos (his signature is very tiny because of the reduction)

I forgot that Lanners also did a lot of the Japanese Mythos:
Amaterasu Omikami
Daikoku
Hachiman
Oh-Kuni-Nushi
Raiden
Susanowo
Yamamoto Date

Ah, thanks; I think you're right. It occurred that some of the American Indian illustrations might be Tramp's, but the style is so unusual for him that I couldn't be sure.
