Advertize in the Classifieds. People who are interested will come to you. They won't on the whole try to get something on the cheap. In my experience, they'll offer you a good fair price for what they're interested in. By all means, raise a discussion in the Appraisals threads.
If no-one bites on particular items, then you are more than likely left with stuff anyone can pick up easily enough on eBay. Then you'd be better off trying to shift it over on Dragonsfoot.org.
Either way, the main forum sections are not the right place to be setting up stall and negotiating you're trades.
