All,

I just came across a 4th print brown C1 module... that appears to have a manufacturing error.  It was printed without a map on the backside of the cover.  Do any of you have experience with this or other errors?

I bet the original owner was pissed.    :evil:

Well, if noone else had the issue...

Was the map still the non-repro blue in the 4th print? Never had one. Strange thing is, if the blue were still 2-colors (cyan and magenta) like previous modules, then it would have had to pass through the process twice and been missed on each occasion. Three times with the possibility that it could have been noticed when scored and folded, and a slim chance to notice when the booklets were inserted.

At which point, someone probably didn't care a whit.  :)

...prb the toner ran out exactly when that cover was in print... :)

Well, it's odd, and likely rare to unique.  But I don't recall hearing of anyone collecting such printing errors for RPG material.

Generally, in collectible printed items, that sort of error is not a value add.


Areas of interest/knowledge: Harn, WFRP, Ars Magica, anything BRP based such as CoC, Runequest, Pendragon and all their related games

In comic books and mags there are those who collect the errors... I am going to list it to eBay... Please don't make fun of me on the ridiculous price forum.

We will. :) Those sort of printing errors, short of the DMG with MM pages bound into it, accrue very little added value, if any at all. I can't think of any other printing error that added value besides the one I listed.
