I will be running the NTX AD&D Second Annual Tournament next year and if you are interested in running a session or two, contact me at your convenience. For your trouble you get a extremely limted Dungeon Masters copy of the event which will also be sold as a new Pacesetter module during the convention. There will be one copy for each DM and one master copy. I will be donating my copy to the convention at the conclusion of the tournament Saturday afternoon.
Running a tournament adventure is not any harder than running a normal AD&D session. All the necessary materials will be provided.
Your DM commitment is one or two sessions - you decide. The session will last four hours. You can run your session on either Friday or Saturday. Maximum number of players is 8.

North Texas RPG Con Second Annual AD&D Open Tournament

Time needed : 3.5 Hour Time Limit

Tournament description: Teams will compete to win the second annual NTX AD&D Tournament. Each team will include up to eight players who will use their skills to gain points as they move throughout the scenario.

Color Description: When the cataclysm came, the black gates of the Acaeum were sealed and only a very few have entered the vast halls of the mysterious mountain citadel. Fewer still survived their expedition. Their reports are vague and confused. They have reported that some of the Keepers (those who maintained the endless libraries of the citadel) still hold power in portions of the citadel and it's subterranean halls. But the majority of the complex has been infested with undead (certainly forces generated by the cataclysm) and numerous monsters that sought refuge in the early days of the undead cataclysm that over-ran most of the island continent. Your party has been hired to penetrate the Acaeum and retrieve certain books and tomes. The task will be deadly, but death may just be the least of your worries!

Event Details: Instead of a two round tournament, the 2012 event will feature a single round. This way you will only have to register for a single time slot.
