I apologize if this is the wrong section of the boards but I thought some of you would want to know... Crazy Egor will be closing shop by the end of the year. He does have some cool stuff in inventory such as various OD&D supplements and a Chainmail 3rd (7th print, I believe.) I can answer why he is doing it... Doctor's orders for less stress.

If anyone is in the area or shops there often, stop by and say thanks.

i spoke to him a few times at GenCon and also dealt with him multiple times on ebay - great guy and always helpful and accomodating.

Yep.  Way back when I got into conventions and collecting, Zocchi and Crazy Egor were the entirety of the major resellers, as far as I knew.

I just wanted to clarify things. Paul will be closing the store, but there is no "sale" until then -- he's basically going through old inventory and bringing in new stuff, like he would every day. I don't know what the end plan is, but he may sell everything to interested buyers, lot it out, or whatever... that's his decision. But, he does run the store like a store -- that means things are available to purchase. If you get the chance, I'd suggest going in to see him, say hi, and especially say thanks for being there for all those years.

I've been fortunate to have dealt with Paul/Egor for a while now, and have enjoyed every meeting. It sucks to hear it will close its doors.

He's still providing good service via Ebay. I bought a JG module (Trial by Fire) from him over the summer, and the transaction went fine.
