Anyone know any source material that covers Thay like the Netheril box covered Netheril?

Thanks

Wasn't there some FR supplement called Red Wizards or was that a novel?

FR6 Dreams of the Red Wizards is what you are thinking of.  The Spellbound box set also has a significant section on Thay.

Thanks guys!
I think my local game store has a used Spellbound.
Will check out FR6 too.
Is that an adventure module or a sourcebook (fluff)?
Thanks

If it is in the original FR series it should be a sourcebook, but it might be spells rather than background info.

FR6 is a sourcebook and has probably more background info on Thay than anything else.

From the table of contents:
Introduction...........2
History of Thay.......3
People & Society.....10
Geography..............14
Current Economy.....24
Current Politics........25
Magic of Thay..........38
Religion of Thay.......49
Personalities............52
Adventures..............58

There is also a pullout Player's Guide and Map.

There was a non-TSR publisher that put out a module that I think was set in the Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting. ALTO Unlimited Inc. put out Tales of the Ruby Dragon, but I don't remember much about it other than my impressions from a skim read. It's probably still within the Acaeum Community somewhere.

Check out the Notes section in this wikipage on Thay  for more possible sources. There's a series of novels too, and though it sort of overthrows the status quo in Thay i think it gives a nice insight into the society.

Also check  out this ENworld threadbook about the red wizards of thay. It mentione the excelletn 3e book The Unapproachable East as a good source.
